The source of the healing mineral water was found by chance during the construction of the Dam of Youth (Nosice Dam) in 1953. While deepening a pit, aggressive water appeared and was destroying some of the tools used by the workmen. Later they found out that the water helped them with different health problems. This was one of the main reasons for several professional studies to be made, which certified the unique composition of the mineral water. After that the building of the spa began. Even now it is a favorite place for descendants of some former workmen.
